My new
apartment - the inside! |
|
|
Get off at the 6th floor and turn left |
Where you came in is halfway down the hall, this is at night |
And here, daytime. The kitchen is built into the hallway. |
Right at the back is my bedroom. Empty at first. Then... |
Voila! |
With a bathroom off to the side |
I like the shape of it, and the tiles, even if they're getting a bit worn |
I can see the city from my bedroom |
At night, it can be quite beautiful |
Looking back up the hallway (built in washer and dryer), the main living space is up ahead, which makes the apartment feel much bigger than it is... |
with the long hallway separating the two rooms
|
Here's the front room |
And turning back around... |
An IKEA bookshelf which I highly recommend |
And my little piano and computer corner |
The light during the day is great - as are the high ceilings, only found on this floor of the apt building. |
And maybe the penthouse. I haven't been up there! Here's my balcony |
And my succulent collection (yes, I've moved the dracena inside now and it's much happier) |
Across from me a very modern addition of boutique offices has just been finished (as of Apr 07) |
Down the street is the Quaker church. I've been meaning to stop in. |
To the right is another view of the city. |
And above me: open sky. I love it. Thanks for the virtual visit. Come see it for real! |
