Greg Wharton and Ian Philips, winner of the Erotica category this year for "See Dick Deconstruct" Another photo of Margaret and her Mom. I'm not sure how I got these out of order. Ditto this one. Margaret's speech combined humour, passion and emotion. I thought she was a gorgeous choice for a special award. Michael Cornelius (left) and two friends. Michael's "Creating Man" was also nominated in the Small Press Category. The winner was a Spanish language book called Conversaciones.

More hanging out at the back of the room This was our table for the evening. Marshall and Jim, you've met. That's Ken Thistlewaite and Kevin between them. I can't quite remember these two gentlemen cause they were a bit too far across the table to talk to! Brian Lam and Robert from Arsenal Pulp Press, publishers of many of the anthologies I've been in. It was good to catch up with them.

Ah, here's an action shot. Who was the most colourfully dressed in the room? Walt, me and Marshall. Here, I'm unsuccessfully trying not to act like a giddy schoolgirl around one of my favourite poets, Mark Doty Mark's latest "The Source" won for Gay Men's Poetry. I was very excited to meet him.
