(1993-2001)

My short fiction has been published in a number of anthologies. Taking part in the Best Gay Erotica series has been a joy. Arsenal Pulp Press published the first gay short fiction collection in Canada, and their subsequent anthologies have done a lot for developing gay writing in Canada. Now, I'm starting to get my way into Australian anthologies. Yay!

This page features anthologies from 2002 to present.
Anthology appearances from 1993 - 2001 can be found on pg. 2

"ANTS"

"...the stories succeed or fail on their literary merits, not their Chinese-ness... Among the successes: Andy Quan's "Ants" makes no overt references to anything Asian but deals with the relationship between two gay men, Jerry and Mick. Again, the quality of the writing sets this story apart, as well as its sweet romantic tone — it seems odd that gay writers are more willing to write warmly about love than straight writers, who seem obsessed with gender conflict." - Toronto Star
